The web is awash in "how-to"
eBooks about making money with Google
Adsense and other income-generating methods. Most of these
eBooks are junk, written by people hoping to make a fast
buck. There are a couple, however, that we can recommend for
people just getting started online and wanting to understand some basics
about making money on the web. Since these eBooks were
written by 20-somethings on too much caffeine, you will have to ignore
the hype on each of the eBooks' websites. Neither book
guarantees success but each one has valuable information for beginners.
For Affiliate Marketers
The first eBook is this
one and it has been around for some time. It has 87 pages in pdf
format (which can be read by downloading free Adobe
software) and describes how to use Google
AdWords to advertise affiliate programs, find lucrative affiliate
programs, find profitable keywords, write Google ads and track
results. This
eBook a good choice for those just starting out with affiliate
marketing or Google
Adwords, and it has been updated to reflect some of the changes
Google has made to its Adwords program.
For Google AdWords Advertisers
The second eBook is this
one. It details how to run and manage a profitable Google
Adwords campaign, which is harder than it sounds because Google has
all kinds of magical and unpublished rules about what makes for a good
campaign. In their opinion. What you think are great,
targeted keywords may not meet Google's standards, and they will stop
your campaign with no explanation as to why. This can be very
frustrating indeed. This
eBook helps you understand what Google wants and how to deliver it,
keeping everybody happy.
